FBERPRO's PDL meter, PL2000, measures polarization dependent loss (PDL) and insertion loss (IL) of optical components simultaneously as well as optical power. The machine has synchronization port to synchronize with tunable laser, if it is equipped with, so that a user can have wavelength dependent value of PDL. (wavelength-swept measurement). Our powerful PDL measurement method ─ fast “polarization scanning” (according to TIA/EIA-455-157) ─ enables PL2000 to achieve very high accuracy with the world’s fastest measurement speed among the kind.
